The Roycroft case was built combining my affection for computers and the Roycroft Movement here in East Aurora, New York.The Roycroft Movement founded by Elbert Hubbard in 1885 was a community of Craftsmen and Artisans. This community greatly affected American Architecture and Design in the early 1900's. I like to say that this would be Elbert Hubbard's computer if he were alive today. The Roycroft symboled glass was designed for and by my daughter Jenna. The glass was made by Roycroft Artisan Peggy Eisensmith. |
